Harold Wegweiser

Born in Brooklyn, NY in 1939, Harold is a self taught sculptor. Following successful years in the brokerage business, Harold set up his first studio in Port Washington and began to explore sculpture on a full time basis. During his time at the University of Kansas he became fascinated with existentialism and freedom of choice which has influence is work. His sculpture in wood, stone and bronze allows him the manifestation of the concepts that have shaped his life.
