Jordan Steckel

Living in Manhattan since the late 1940's, Jordan has created hundreds of works for private collections and public commissions. He is an artist that enjoys getting his hands dirty and is involved in all the aspects of the modeling and casting process. Many years ago he had a small foundry facility where he did all his own casting. He currently has a studio space in Brooklyn and teaches at Pratt Institute.

Windows for Tiffany's, Bonwitt Teller, IBM, El Al Airlines, Pfizer Chemical, Meade Paper, tea kettles for COPCO, castled bronze awards for Jim Henson, decor of Trattoria Dell Arte Restaurant located in New York City and sculpture series of NY themes for The Phantom of Broadway souvenir stores. Steckel has worked with numerous architects on design projects over the years.
